Description
External forces were squeezing the specialty of periodontics to undergo an unscheduled transformation. And then the pandemic arrived. As much as we would like to recapture how it once was, that ship has sailed. Suppose the goal is to keep periodontal specialists relevant in the dental landscape of tomorrow. In that case, we must apply a different focus to remain essential and purposeful in the eyes of our patients and collaborative partners. We must embrace a digital transformation and develop a digital strategy. Using a process of ongoing improvement and challenging the theory of constraints in the periodontal practice, we will explore how shifting trends—information and relationships—impact the cornerstones of your practice. Engagement, markets, and your workforce have never been more demanding. Every year is year one, and this year, it’s a digital one.
