This session is for the periodontal professional who has limited treatment options to offer the patient who presents with a severely atrophic maxilla.

This course will explore the multiple etiological pathways and controversies surrounding the periodontal-systemic connection, as well as keys to successful management of periodontitis patients with chronic inflammatory disease.

This session is intended to showcase clinical advances and/or translational research with direct application to patient care.

Innovations in 3-D imaging of hard and soft tissues provides new opportunities for innovative design of biomaterials for tissue reconstructive procedures.
